SueAnn Wikstrom: A Life Cut Short by a Mysterious Death

SueAnn Wikstrom, also known as Susie, was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, niece, and cousin who left this world unexpectedly on January 5, 2021, at the age of 31. She was born on November 22, 1989, in Ishpeming, Michigan, and lived in Beaver Grove, Michigan, with her parents and five siblings. She graduated from North Star Academy in 2010 and had a brief employment with Comfort Suites. She had three children, Iyzic and Samantha Black of Negaunee and infant son, Gustaf Croschere of Marinette, Wisconsin. They were her sun, moon, and all the stars.

A Celebration of Her Life Was Held on August 22, 2021

Close friends and family gathered at the Beaver Grove Soccer Fields on Sunday, August 22, 2021, from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm, for a brief service followed by food and refreshments. They celebrated her life and remembered her as a free-spirited, adventurous, and loving person who refused to let anyone or anything hold her back. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Erik Wikstrom, formerly of Beaver Grove; paternal grandparents, John and Adah Monhead of Cornell, Michigan; and an uncle, Carl Wikstrom formerly of Harvey. She is survived by her children, parents, siblings, maternal grandmother, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her best friend, Brian “Flap” Gustafson of Marquette.
