Joshua Christmas was a pastor, chef, husband, father, and son who passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022, in Nashville, TN at the age of 43. He was born in Washington State to Pastor Kent Christmas and Patricia Taylor on April 26, 1978. He moved to Nashville, TN at age 16 to be with his parents Pastors Kent and Candy Christmas. He dedicated his life to serving God and His people, especially the homeless community in Nashville. He was also a passionate preacher and teacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ, especially on the power of communion. He married Carrie Christmas on March 15, 2008, and they had two sons, Charlie and Cash.

Joshua Christmas died of a brain aneurysm, which is a bulge or weakening in a blood vessel in the brain that can rupture and cause bleeding. he experienced a brain bleed on January 14, 2022, and was hospitalized. he suffered a massive brain bleed at the base of the brain stem on February 13, 2022. He passed away on February 6, 2022, surrounded by his family and friends.
