Jennifer met her soulmate and best friend, Todd Dennis Cusick, at a church dance. They were married on June 16, 1989, in the Salt Lake Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They lived in Salt Lake, Lehi, Bountiful, and Provo, where they raised their four children: Jacob, David, Samuel, and Anneka. Jennifer was a dedicated and supportive wife and mother, who always put her family first. She was also a proud and loving grandmother to three grandchildren: Carter, Charlotte, and Cooper.

Jennifer was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, who served in various callings throughout her life.
