Dirty Redd Cause of Death: A Tragic End for a Rising Rapper

Dirty Redd, also known as Dirty Redd 219, was an American rapper, singer, and songwriter from Chicago. He was the founder and lead member of the collective and record label Big4Ent. He had a breakthrough hit with his song “Stressing”, which gained over 20,000 views on Facebook in a few days. He also released a mixtape on DatPiff.com and went on tour with Pitbull overseas. He was working on new music and was featured on Thisis50.com in April 2021.

However, his promising career was cut short by a fatal shooting in Atlanta on March 5, 2021. He was in the city for the upcoming NBA All-Star Weekend, when he was shot and killed on the interstate near Jimmy Carter Boulevard. He died in the arms of his friend and fellow rapper Dirty Redd World, who posted a photo of them on Instagram with the caption: “(Streets don’t love a soul). My lil brother died in my arms, that’s a feeling I will never shake.”

The motive and the suspect of the shooting are still unknown, and the police are investigating the case. Dirty Redd’s fans, friends, and family are mourning his loss and paying tribute to his talent and legacy. His father was D of Trinity Garden Cartel, a popular Houston group with Rap-A-Lot Records, and his cousin was C Note from the Botany Boyz. His manager was Bone of Boneafied Entertainment, who also manages Bun B. Bun B posted on Instagram: “Damn. This was a good man. Humble. Hard working. Loyal. Determined. Focused. And he had the talent. … We are heartbroken this morning and send our deepest condolences to D, Bone and all of his family, friends and supporters.
