Early Life and Career

Dawit Nega was born and raised in Mekelle, the capital of Tigray state, in Ethiopia. At age 15, he applied to join Circus Tigray, an entertainment group, to pursue his passion for music.

Cause of Death

He was treated until Saturday, but his condition worsened and he was transferred to the intensive care unit on Sunday afternoon.

Before coming to the hospital, Dawit Nega was administering glucose at home to relieve his pain. However, it is not clear whether Dawit Nega had diabetes or any other underlying health condition.
